Terms of use

Satismaptory (satismaptory.com, its accounts, shared saves and the Satismaptory agent) is provided by Saltado LLC, a Texas limited liability company of Austin, Texas ("we", "us"). By using it or creating an account you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. Who may use it

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian has to agree to these terms for you. An account is for one person: keep your password to yourself, and tell us at support@satismaptory.com if you think someone else got into your account.

2. What Satismaptory is

A free interactive map of the game Satisfactory, plus accounts that let you attach your save, track what you have collected, and plan with friends in shared saves. It is free to use. Supporting it with money is optional and does not buy any extra features or service.

3. Your content

What you add (save names, check-offs, zones, drawings, notes and the save summaries your agent uploads) stays yours. You give us permission to store it, process it and show it to the members of the saves you put it in, only to run the service. When you delete it, we delete it as the privacy policy describes.

The owner of a save decides who is in it. Owners can invite and remove members, change their roles, and delete the save with everything in it. Only add content you have the right to share with the people in that save.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Satismaptory to:

• break the law, or harass, threaten or impersonate anyone;
• upload malware, or try to get into accounts, saves or systems that are not yours;
• overload the site, scrape it in bulk, or get around its limits;
• post content you do not have the right to share, or that is hateful or sexually explicit.

5. The agent

The Satismaptory agent runs on your own computer, reads your save files and uploads summaries of them to your save. It only reads the save folder you point it at. Keep its token private: anyone holding it can upload to your save until you revoke it in the save's settings.

6. Game content and credits

Satisfactory, its map and its icons belong to Coffee Stain Studios, and Satisfactory is a trademark of Coffee Stain Studios. Satismaptory is an independent project, not affiliated with or endorsed by Coffee Stain Studios. Map positions and game data come from valentinps/satisfactorymap under the AGPL-3.0 license.

7. Copyright complaints

If you believe something on Satismaptory infringes your copyright, email support@satismaptory.com with your contact details, the work you say is infringed, where it appears on the site, a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized, and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you own the right or may act for its owner, with your signature (electronic is fine). We will remove or disable the material and tell the person who added it. We close the accounts of repeat infringers.

8. Changes and availability

We may change, pause or stop parts of the service, including the map data, as the game and the site evolve. We try to keep it running, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors, or that map data matches every game version.

9. Ending it

You can stop using Satismaptory at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk. Except for serious breaches, we will give you a chance to say your piece first.

10. No warranty

Satismaptory is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.

11. Limit of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, Saltado LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or lost profits. Our total liability for any claim about Satismaptory is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 US dollars if that is more. Some places do not allow these limits; there, this section applies only as far as it legally can.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will say so on the site or by email before it takes effect, and the date at the top will change. Using Satismaptory after that means you accept the new version.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of Travis County, Texas have jurisdiction. Nothing here takes away consumer rights you have where you live that cannot be waived.

14. The rest

If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing something once does not mean we gave it up. These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Satismaptory.
